I was given the task to re-design this E-gift card experience. The design was outdated & not mobile friendly.
The re-design includes clean spacey backgrounds, plenty of with white space and eye popping call to actions. I chose a powerful visual of an envelope with a gift ribbon to evoke the excitement and intrigue we feel before opening a physical gift.
I was in charge of designing various emails for different audiences. The emails range from Promotional, Inspirational and Automated.
Designed different types of mailers and inserts for our customers and following specific campaign creative.
I directed a 15 sec. ad for Patio Furniture. Based on the Internet fad "Fakecation" which is basically faking that you're vacationing. The first frame shows a set of "legs" facing a patio as if a person was posting on social media. As the camera pans out, it reveals an office worker in her dark cubicle using her fingers as legs in front of the camera. The end caption reads: "Don't Fake It, make your patio a reality with Overstock"
Overstock.com is moving to a brand new building and I was asked to design a conference room mural with the theme "Innovation". I chose to use a subtle background with the wire frame of a platform called Partner Compass which was developed by Overstock in its early days. On top of that theres a human brain, which is a big part of human innovation that fades in a gradient of hot/cold colors to illustrate the left and right brain hemispheres. The red dot represents many things to Overstock, like the first letter of its name and because we are a .com company.

While working for eBay I was asked to create a few design projects for a very important roll-out in internal customer service practices. I was also asked to create a mockup for the home page experience that would be appealing to millenials.

This is a Social Media pilot concept I created to drive NPS (Net Promoter Scores) up and engage our new sellers. View Project
In their effort to offer a better customer service eBay launched Topic Based Routing and asked me to create something to illustrate what TBR is in a real life call center scenario. I created this at the beginning of the parallax scrolling craze and it got a lot of laughs because of some eBay inside jokes.

LUX means "light" and light is a synonym of information. I created this business back in 2011 as a new way to help local businesses incorporate mobile technology into their business. This was my first attempt at the design world.

The UHCC has been a great client since the beginning of my freelance career. I've had the opportunity to design a lot of things for them, from convention websites to program booklets and social media posts. They have also hired me a few times to speak to small business owners about the importance of tech & design.

Art direction and branding for the 2015 Annual convention held in Salt Lake City
Sponsor banners for hanging up in a big conference room.
Landing page website for the 2015 conference. The page featured a countdown clock to evoke a sense of urgency to buy tickets and sponsorships.
I created various fliers for many events.
This is a branding mockup for a TV Show. The UHCC partnered with Salt Lake Community College to produce an educational TV show aimed to inspire and teach people who want to learn English. The main audience are immigrants who's English is a second language.
