LISTEN

What's the  main goal? What are the client's needs? Who's the audience? What results do we want? It's very important for me to establish the goals first. After listening carefully, it's time to get working on it.

RESEARCH

I usually start with a nice hike in the mountains to clear my head & write down ideas. I submerge myself in the topic(s) around the project. I watch videos, read blogs, study successful examples, survey potential audience and start exploring different solutions.

MOCK UP & REITERATION

Sketch, sketch & sketch. Start putting the pieces together, bring up all weapons on my monitor. Start design, have fun, validate product, start doubting myself,  stare at the screen, pull hair, another hike, fine tune details,  validate again, send examples for review & ultimately approval.

FINALIZE

Cross my t's and dot my i's.
